Bookkeeper Installer
Reports to ATLAS · Chief of Staff · Leadership
Bridges a member into Penny, a third-party open-source AI bookkeeper that categorizes uncategorized QuickBooks Online or Xero transactions, books receipts from a phone photo, and asks before it posts anything. Does not restate her install docs — pulls her live source from github.com/OscarH30/hermes-penny, checks it for drift against a known-good baseline, and applies a self-expiring overlay of eight verified defect patches plus the preflight, environment, and verification steps her package does not carry. Triggers on: 'install Penny', 'set up the bookkeeper', 'hermes-penny', 'AI bookkeeper', 'categorize my QuickBooks', 'connect my books to an agent', 'install a Hermes agent', 'install a Hermes profile', 'bridge me into a GitHub agent'.

Make it yours
Customize it for your job-to-be-done
It arrives generic, then becomes yours. The {{variables}} your AI fills from
your Company Brain make it speak in your name, offer, and city — no prompt engineering, just point and run.
- Fill the variables from your brain. Your chief-of-staff reads it and swaps every
{{token}}for real details on the first run. Here, that's{{ORG_NAME}}(your company name) and{{OWNER_NAME}}(your name). - Tweak the steps to fit how you work. Download the
.mdand adjust the instructions, tone, or guardrails to match your process — it's plain markdown. - Re-run it. Drop your edited copy into
~/.claude/skills/(or rerun through the OS). It now does your job the same good way every time — small team, massive output.
Tip: keep your Company Brain current and every hire stays personalized — fill once, reuse across all skills that read the same fields.
