The Recruiter

What job do you need done?

Ask the Recruiter — describe the work and it finds the AI employee for the job. 177 skills on the shelf.

No skill matches that — try a broader word.

Required Setup

Connect the MCP before onboarding.

The Agentic OS MCP connector is the required first step. Once it is connected, the Recruiter can scan the website, pull context, and install the first AI employee install packet from chat.

Required orderConnector first. Install packet second.

Build the install packet in the browser, but run it only after the AI client can call Agentic OS tools.

  1. Copy your MCP link.
  2. Add it to Claude, Codex, Cursor, or your MCP client.
  3. Run the readiness prompt.
  4. Paste the personalized install-packet command.

Watch the setup

Required Recruiter command

Paste this only after the MCP connector is installed. It verifies access first, then scans the website and starts the first-hire setup path.

Required first step: confirm the Agentic OS MCP server is connected in this AI client before doing any setup. Call agentic_os_check_subscription and confirm active access, then confirm agentic_os_aicos, agentic_os_list_skills, and agentic_os_load_skill are available. If any of those tools are missing, stop and tell me to reconnect the MCP server before continuing.

Once the MCP is confirmed, act as my Agentic OS Recruiter, director, and implementation architect. Ask for my company website if I have not provided it yet. Scan the website first as the public source of truth: extract offer, audience, promise, positioning, products/services, proof, calls to action, visible funnel, team/about context, and obvious operating constraints. If you cannot browse the website, ask me to paste the homepage/about/services copy before continuing.

Then pull whatever context already exists from Agentic OS, Company Brain, business-context, member/account intake, CRM/onboarding records, and connected context. Ask only one focused question at a time if required context is missing. Recruit my first AI employee from the full catalog of skills, AI employees, divisions, and agentic workflows. Run agentic-os-connect-and-first-win, help me stand up or update the Company Brain as the HR/onboarding layer, and walk me through the selected employee install packet in order. If I say "this is where I am at" or "this is what I am doing," update the plan and continue from my current state instead of restarting.

1 · Required Agentic OS connector

Not connected

This link is the required connector. Paste it into Claude, Codex, Cursor, or another MCP client before running any first AI employee install packet.

https://agentic-os-mcp.vercel.app/api/mcp

Open this page from your member link to load your personal, authenticated key.

Lost your key? It's in your Agentic Society welcome email — or reply to whoever sent you your member link to get a fresh one.

Required readiness checkDo not continue until the Agentic OS Recruiter/router responds

A stale or unconnected client cannot run onboarding. Verify the AI tool can call the Agentic OS Recruiter/router and access the full catalog before any website scan, Company Brain setup, or install-packet build.

Endpoint https://agentic-os-mcp.vercel.app/api/mcpMain door agentic_os_aicosCatalog skills + workflows
Required MCP preflight before setup. 1. Call agentic_os_check_subscription and report whether membership/access is active. 2. Confirm these core tools are available: agentic_os_aicos, agentic_os_list_skills, and agentic_os_load_skill. 3. Call agentic_os_aicos with this request: "Act as my Agentic OS Recruiter, director, and implementation architect. Confirm you can recruit the first AI employee from the full catalog of skills, AI employees, divisions, and agentic workflows." If agentic_os_aicos is unavailable, if the router does not respond as the main door, or if the client cannot see the Agentic OS catalog, stop and tell me which connector endpoint/account/token this client is using so I can refresh or reconnect the MCP. Do not continue into onboarding until this preflight passes.

Build the bench

Request a skill or AI employee

Need a job done that no one on the shelf covers yet? Tell the team what you need — it goes straight to the build queue, and your new hire shows up in your portal when it ships.

Goes straight to the build team and is tracked in the queue.

Get up to speed

The language, in plain English

Everything here, defined simply — so anyone on your team can talk about (and use) this stuff at the same level. No jargon left behind.

LLM
Large Language Model — the AI “brain” (Claude, GPT). It reads and writes language; everything else wraps around it.
API
How software talks to software. An API key is your password to use a service from code.
MCP
Model Context Protocol — the open standard that lets your AI plug into outside tools and libraries (like ours). The “USB‑C for AI tools.” Our catalogue is delivered over MCP.
Connector
An MCP connection you add to Claude or Cowork (Settings → Connectors). One link and your AI can reach the whole Agentic OS.
Skill
A packaged job your AI can run — a prompt with guardrails and steps. Hire one for a task instead of writing the prompt yourself.
AI employee
A bundle of related skills framed as a role (e.g. the Content Marketer). You direct it like a hire.
Routine
A composed skill that runs several skills in order — e.g. your whole weekly content, hands-off.
Agent
An AI that works in a loop — draft → check → fix — until the job is actually done, not just one reply.
Harness
The tool your agent runs in: Claude, Claude Code (terminal), Cowork. The Agentic OS sits on top of all of them.
CLI / Terminal
Typing commands instead of clicking — where Claude Code lives. Powerful, and simpler than it looks.
Capability
What a connected tool lets your AI do — read your Drive, send an email, run a skill.
One key, every door
Your single membership key works everywhere — in Claude, in the terminal, in the portal. Connect once.

Get set up — with Claude

  1. Install Claude Code in your terminal:
    npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
then run claude. (Or use the Claude desktop app.)
  2. Add the Agentic OS — one line (grab your personal link on the Connect tab):
claude mcp add agentic-os --transport http <your link>
  3. Just ask. Tell your chief of staff what you need in plain language — it routes you to the right skill.
